There are many things wrong with the Government. Hopefully they will listen to us.
The government's proposal to introduce road pricing will mean you having to purchase a tracking device for your car and paying a monthly bill to use it.
The tracking device will cost about £200 and in a recent study by the BBC, the lowest monthly bill was £28 for a rural florist and £194 for a delivery driver.
A non working Mum who used the car to take the kids to school paid £86 in one month.
On top of this massive increase in tax, you will be tracked. Somebody will know where you are at all times. They will also know how fast you have been going, so even if you accidentally creep over a speed limit you can expect a NIP with your monthly bill.

What the **** is all that about?
I do own a car but think i will be priced off the road by the shenanigans of this government.
Appreciate the environmental damage cars are doing but i thought renewable fuels were the way forward (won't go into one about the war for oil) and i thought road tax already covered the cost of the roads.
Also thought creating a society of have and have nots was a tory strategy.
Anonymous- I know exactly what you mean. It costs me £800 to insure my car. And don't worry about the oil thing, I'm very sure all the oil companies have loads of alternatives ready to go, they're just making the most amount of profit from fossil fuels before they vanish. Then they introduce new fuels, so they have continued business. Bastards.
